CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. On 7 November 2019, Marines of 9th Communication Battalion celebrate the Marine Corps 244th Birthday at the Pala Casino & Resort. Pala Casino offers veterans and active-duty military a free buffet on November 11. Looooove Pala, but went their on Tuesday and right off walked in during a man running through casino beating customers. At least 50 law enforcement were onsite they were talking about nothing. Couldn't believe what happened next. The smell inside the casino was like putting your nose into an ash tray.
20 Jan Military Ball at Harrah’s Resort in Valley Center
I really enjoyed celebrating with a wonderful group of our nation’s finest! I had a blast performing as a Military Ball DJ at Harrah’s Resort in Valley Center. It was an amazing crowd and everyone had a wonderful time. I played a fun mix of everything from Latin to country to top 40 dance hits. I took table requests during dinner, which helped me get a feel for the 400 attendees’ musical tastes.
“Uptown Funk” by Bruno Mars is always a fun party song.
There was a lot of shuffling going on to “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO. I saw some amazing dance moves on the floor.
I got them going on the Cupid Shuffle. I think it is safe to say everyone was out on the dance floor … as well as on the carpet since the dance floor was so full!
I had a lot of country requests, so I played a few country sets that went over really well.
I really enjoyed providing a fun evening for the men and women that serve our country. It was a true honor!
